Bouchard Finlayson Chardonnay Sans Barrique 2010

Nov-25-2011
Sourced from dry-farmed 20-year old vines near Villiersdorp, the 2010 Chardonnay Sans Barrique has a light but well defined nose of fresh apricot, melon and grapefruit. It is effervescent in the mouth and has an attractive waxy texture towards the complex citrus and white peach finish. This is a very impressive Elgin Chardonnay that should age well. Drink now-2017.

Domaines Schlumberger Pinot Gris, Les Princes Abbe 2008

Nov-21-2011

This Schlumberger Pinot Gris is an exotic, spicy mix of dried stone fruit and quince with a hint of orange peel. Try with our salami!

Morgon, Faiveley 2009

Nov-21-2011

Faiveley`s Morgon is a light to medium-weight red-fruited bundle of joy: Cherry and floral aromas, lively palate, fruity, with pleasant acidity giving it freshness and zip.

Attitude, Pascal Jolivet 2010

Nov-21-2011

Attitude is produced by Pascal Jolivet. It shows restraint and elegance with notes of green apple, citrus fruits and kiwi fruit  aligned with minerality. Excellent value, the quality and style of good Sancerre.

Domaines Schlumberger Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Kitterle 2005

Nov-21-2011

The Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Kitterle 2005 is deep yellow-gold with an extrordinary bouquet of roses and exotic fruits. On the palate it is  ripe (almost sweet-tasting) and joyous;  so lusciouss you will want to savour every mouthful. The perfect wine with  cheese, smoked fish or spicy foods. Truly stunning. A must – buy for Alsace fans!

Domaines Schlumberger Pinot Gris, Grand Cru Kitterle 2007

Nov-21-2011

The Pinot Gris Grand Cru Kitterle 2007 is a deep yellow - orange (onion) in colour with depth, richness and spice, yet with a honed quality and restraint which is more-ish and simply adorable. This is the wine I will be drinking on Boxing Day!

Mud House Pinot Noir, Central Otago 2009

Nov-21-2011

Mud House Pinot Noir

Lifted aromas of dark cherry and berry fruit,  complex notes of mocha and cinnamon and hints of freshly crushed herbs. On the palate luscious bramble, dark cherry and spice.
