Te Mata`s own Bordeaux blend of grapes with 57% Merlot, 34% Cabernet and 9% Petit Verdot. Aromas of dark plum, blackberry and red roses follow through to blackcurrants and spices on the palate. Lovely wine, mature fruits, recommended with roasted red meats and hard cheeses.

Grove Mill Riesling
Intense citrus and floral aromas including orange and lime blossom lead on to a mouthful of quince, mandarin, passionfruit and ginger. Excellent choice with Thai and dishes that have a hint of chilli heat and spice.

Light, fresh Sauvignon Blanc with peach and nectarine aromas and an appealing fruitiness on the palate which is light, clean and quenching. Simple, attractive.
Ata Rangi Pinot Noir
One of New Zealand`s top Pinots. Richly layered and focused, drinking well now but may be aged for considerable time. Muscular style with dark plum / cherry aromas and exotic spice. Bullnose
Wonderful red fruits, plenty of attitude and in my book a real winner! Looking ahead a good choice for the turkey! Floral, plum and dark cherry aromas, on the palate a silky mouthfeel with plum, cherry, raspberry and delicious vanilla spice due to 16 months maturation in French oak barriques.
Elston
Burgundy style white, delicious with sea bream! Characteristics include tropical aromas and flavours of fresh pineapple, grapefruit and ripe peach. Mid-palate there is a delicious oatmeal biscuit flavour which is highly satisfying.
Te Mata Woodthorpe Chardonnay
Elegant Chardonnay by Te Mata. Aromas of citrus blossom and white peach give way to peachy fruit flavours and underlying cream and biscuit notes.
Ata Rangi Chardonnay
Rich, buttery Chardonnay, focused and well-honed. A stylish alternative to White Burgundy. Perfumes of white peach, melon, lime and brioche are followed by a weighty palate of tropical fruit and oak character, beautifully balanced.
