If Domaines Ott at around £70 per magnum is too rich for you, try this one. It has much that Ott offers in weight, viscosity and flavour. One for cold meats / charcuterie or spicy food.
Show stopping Puligny-Montrachet. Terrific purity, aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers, on the palate a certain “gout du terroir” infused with minerals, a note of vanilla and a gorgeous lick of fresh butter, finishing in a steely embrace.
Fine burgundy, excellent vintage – will cellar well for five years or so, alternatively drink now after decanting for a few hours.
