Tuscan red which punches above its price point. Rigerous selection of grapes and clever use of Slavonian oak ensures this wine is incredibly rich and concentrated. Outstanding value.

Terres Noires

Fruity Mediterranean red produced with Grenache and Merlot grapes, supple and although fruit-driven, the Grenache provides an interesting savoury flavour to the fruit quality.

Livor

Delicious quaffing Rioja produced with  100% organically grown Tempranillo grapes around Logrono and San Vicente de la Soncierra.

Jurancon

Interesting sweet wine made with the Petit Manseng grape. Could be served with foie gras as a starter wine or with fruit dessert and cheeses at the finish. Zesty and aromatic.

A red from northern Chile, the Limari Valley at the edge of the Atacama Desert (they call it the Enchanted Valley because it is so magical). The wine is somewhere between an Aussie Shiraz and Croze-Hermitage in weight and ripeness, with vibrant berry fruits, white pepper and bacon notes. Attractive style, ideal with beef.

Good fruity red with gentle warming spice from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and, unusually, Tempranillo grape also in the mix. Together with the berry-like fruits it is a suitable match with pasta and tomato-based sauce as well as roasted red meats.

This family run domaine is based in Bue, an area to the south-west of Sancerre. Winemaker Patrick Girault goes to great lengths to achieve the colour and purity of this delicious pale salmon rose. Gentle crushing and brief contact on the red skins provide the perfect colour, soft red fruits and leafy-savoury character. Produced with 100%  Pinot Noir grapes.  Delicious with deli foods and even “man” enough for our smoked duck!

Fresh tropical fruits and peachy, melon as well to the fore, really ripe and fresh. Hint of vanilla. Cracking party wine.

Fruity Shiraz with plum and cherry fruits prevailing and tasty pepper notes up-front as well. Sweeter notes of cinnamon give it a gentle spice in the background. Very pleasing.
