Avignonesi Nobile di Montepulciano
A wonderfully elegant red with blackberries and plums on the nose. Good purity of fruit and minerality, stylishly rich in a savoury way. Balanced, sinewy body with supple redcurrant fruit on the palate. In my mind very classy. Grapes include 85% Prugnoio Gentile, 10% Canaiolo Nero & 5% Mammolino.
