The Wine Centre is run by husband & wife team Anthony & Janet Borges of Great Horkesley, together with Merrill Harrington of Stoke by Nayland, all of whom have a wealth of retail experience. Anthony is responsible for the selection of Wines, Beers & Spirits and is passionate about the role of an independent wine merchant in today`s world.
We offer a genuine alternative to the mainstream of drinks found in the multiples and our uniqueness coupled with our friendly enthusiasm and the quality we offer is what makes us that little bit special. Our absolute aim is to give satisfaction.
If you are in the area please do drop by for a chat and a browse. The shop is a haven where you can take time out of your busy schedule and lose yourself for a while.
We are proud of our fledgling Deli within the wine shop which provides an assortment of foods ideal for picnic-lunches, hors d`ouvres and canapés, the inspiration and source for our burgeoning hamper business. And now we have introduced Riedel Glass and Culinary Concepts to our portfolio, completing the wine-dining experience and providing an innovative selection of gifts for wine and food lovers.
